Tokyo Bar Secures Halal Certification for 3 Products, Strengthening Global Expansion

Tokyo Bar Co., Ltd. is committed to reducing waste and enhancing safety in food processing while delivering nutritious and delicious food products. In response to requests from buyers in Islamic countries, the company has obtained Halal certification for three of its products from the Japan Islamic Trust (JIT).

At its development center in Ibaraki Prefecture, the company creates products by utilizing often-discarded parts of vegetables, such as leaves and peels.

Halal food refers to meals permitted under Islamic dietary laws and is experiencing rapidly growing demand both domestically and internationally. By obtaining this certification, Tokyo Bar aims to deliver products that meet religious requirements to a wider audience and further strengthen its presence in the global market.
